What is a managed security service (MSSP)?
A managed security service (MSSP) puts a dedicated team in charge of monitoring, protecting and improving your security posture, so you don't have to build an in-house SOC. As your MSSP, UD covers four phases — identify, protect, monitor and plan — with 24/7 monitoring, compliance reports and monthly improvement advice, billed monthly or quarterly.
How often should we run a pen test, and how long does it take?
At least once a year, plus after any major system change or before a new site launches. The full process — kickoff and scoping, recon, testing, reporting and retesting — takes about 4 to 5 weeks. Add a red-team simulation and it extends to 6 to 8 weeks.
Which certifications does UD Security hold?

Can SMEs afford 24/7 SOC monitoring?
Yes. An MSSP is priced by endpoint count plus a monthly plan, far cheaper than building your own SOC, which means heavy CapEx and hiring round-the-clock specialists. SMEs can start on a basic plan and widen coverage as the business grows.
Will phishing tests disrupt staff?
No. The test emails look like ordinary messages, and the follow-up training is non-judgemental — about education, not blame. In practice, trained staff appreciate that the company is looking out for them.
